Christian Snowsports Ministry is dedicated to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our ministry is currently involved with several Christian missionaries in France who put together camps for people of all ages throughout the year. Christian Snowsports Ministry has been invited to bring the American half of the French/American ski and snowboard camps that are held in the French Alps at two existing Christian retreat centers. If you are an intermediate or better skier or snowboarder with a strong Christian faith, we invite you to join us.
Why France? While France may not seem all that different than the US, in reality it is a world apart. There are so few Christian teens and young adults in France, that it is difficult for them to live a life of faith. It is a society that scorns belief in God. As a result, the French struggle with high rates of suicide and astronomical numbers of people dependent upon antidepressants.
We believe that God has provided us with a wonderful opportunity to share our faith with these lonely people. By living with the French teens and young adults for a week, we believe we can establish life-long friendships and more opportunities to share God with them. Our encouragement and hope can be life-changing for these people.
Living your faith. Each camp is an opportunity for you to be a living witness of God in your life. By living with the French people during the camp, you will show them by example what God's love is and show them that it is possible to be a Christian and have fun at the same time! Many of the people who come will be unbelievers who have never met another Christian and have never contemplated the fact that God is real. Meeting a group of committed believers and seeing your excitement will cause them to re-think their own beliefs and draw them closer to a relationship with Christ.
As for the French believers who come, they have very few Christian friends in France and it will be an amazing opportunity for them to make friends and be encouraged and strengthened by fellow believers. Don't miss this opportunity to share your faith around the world!
